Share your story of love through your floral designs
Tanya has had a crush on flowers for years now. It’s an obsession really!
Flowers have always been part of her life and she’s been designing professionally since 2001. Her Muskoka-based design studio shows the love she has for every bloom. Her style is very natural and organic, perfect for weddings here in Muskoka and beyond. Tanya opts for locally sourced flowers whenever possible, some are even picked from her own gardens to create beautiful arrangements on event days.
Tanya’s experience spans from 2006-2013 co-owning the #1 rated floral boutique in downtown Toronto. After the birth of the most amazing little girl, her life led her in a new direction. In 2013 Tanya, her hubby Ry and little lady Reid moved back to her much missed and loved hometown of Muskoka. Here she has created a floral and design studio where her focus remains on each client- giving them a personal and creative touch in every single detail.
Floral designer Jessy Beck was born and raised north of Muskoka in cottage country in Ontario. Growing up in an artistically inclined family she developed a passion early in life for design and the nature surrounding her. After being exposed to floral design in Japan at a young age she discovered the detail and fine art of floral design.
These days Jessy can be found with green stained fingers and at least a leaf or two in her tea. She has a very natural and unique approach to design often incorporating uncommon elements whenever possible.
All weddings are created to be one-of-a-kind and are custom tailored for each couple that we meet.

I’m a colour lover and in my opinion it’s the only way to live ☺
I find ways to add a dash of colour (at a minimum!) into almost everything I touch. I love warm, cozy, lived in spaces that mix different décor styles together. I love texture, pattern, and layering rooms to give them that collected over time feel. I believe that rooms should be relaxing, inspiring, but also not cost a fortune.
Design services vary based on client needs: from someone who would like their home decorated start to finish, to those who need help with finishing touches on something already started.
I provide many different services including initial consults, space planning, colour consults, sourcing (including vintage), photo shoot styling and more. Please contact us for details. Initial in-home consults are $250 for 2 hours and design is $75 per hour.
In my 20’s I always wanted original pieces of art in my home but could never afford them. My painting passion was born when I walked into an art store and saw that canvas was on sale. I purchased the largest one they sold (good thing it fit in my vehicle), took the canvas home, and stared at it for a year. Then one night I poured myself a glass of wine and a new obsession developed ☺
My paintings are full of colour, flowers and pattern…just the way life should be. If you wish to purchase or see my work in-person please contact me. Commissions are also welcome. Timing for commissioned work is 2-6 weeks, depending on the time of year.
Tanya’s passion for creativity and colour has never been limited by art form, and her latest exploration has been in ceramics. Over the past 5 years she has been building her skills and knowledge with clay through experimentation, courses at the Haliburton School of Arts, and from local Muskoka artists.
When COVID circumstances in 2020 resulted in sweeping cancellations across the wedding industry, Tanya pivoted this extra time into playing with clay and further developing her ceramic art style. Perhaps not surprisingly, Tanya’s ceramics are filled with colour and whimsy. From wall hangings to dishware to vases individually styled for your wedding, all ceramic items are one of a kind, designed and crafted by Tanya herself.
Custom orders are welcome, Tanya would love to work with you to create ceramic pieces for your home, wedding, or as personal or corporate gifts. You can find Tanya’s work on her shop website https://shop.tanyalist.ca.
