Some weddings just turn out even better than expected, Jaime and Billie’s was just that. I mean, i knew it was going to be fabulous, but the final result was just pure perfection. The venue was the Grooms family cottage, situated on a fabulous piece of property in Muskoka, it truly was an amazing place to hold an outdoor wedding. Thank you again to Jamie who brought her relaxed, cool, gorgeous vibe to this wedding::))

ps Jamie also had my favourite dress of the season….the back was unreal!!

This is clearly one of my favourite weddings of last summer starring one of my favourite families of all-time.

Hilary & Andrew got married at the fabulous RCYC on Toronto Island. It was the perfect sunny summer day. It was an UBER hot day…..we all lost about 5-10 pounds in sweat but it was totally worth it….just look at the pics!!!! I had never been to the venue before that day, everything had to be loaded onto barges…and unloaded, and up stairs a million times….lol, but no one i would rather schlep for than Hilary, she was an absolute dream to work and it didn’t hurt that she has absolutely fabulous taste too:)

Favourite parts of the wedding were by far the flowering a tree (that ps apparently still looked amazing the next day and another bride used it in her ceremony!!) Also, creating a large arrangement in a Trophy (for the second time, check out Hilary’s sisters wedding here that we did 2 years ago). I just want to say thanks again for letting us flower up your day Hilary it was truly amazing::)

The Vow Project makes it to Green Wedding Shoes:)

This is one of those photo shoots that kind of just turned out perfectly. There is nothing that i would have changed (except the Pan Am Toronto traffic). This shoot was produced by the two creative minds of Lynzie of Love By Lynzie & Jennifer of Ferre Sposa. The two fabulous ladies created 3 events that real-life-brides can enter to win top to bottom styled shoots….kind of a wicked prize if you ask me. This concept is called: The Vow Project

All i’m gonna say is GREEN WEDDING SHOES. I’ve been in this business for more years than i will admit. The Green Wedding shoes blog was one of the first of it’s kind and was amazing from the beginning……and has kept at the top of the Wedding Blog game for years…..

This wedding was styled to perfection from Lynzie & Carly at Love By Lynzie. The ladies hand-picked all the items including the many vintage furniture pieces. Jessy, Ry & I set up the birch arch with the peach lace curtains….it turned out even better than i imagined:) Congrats again to the happy couple Kim & Richard!!!!!!!

I’m not sure if it’s Muskoka or the people that are drawn to getting married here (or both)….but since my move back home, i’ve had the pleasure this summer of working with some of my most favourite couples and their families in my 15 year “wedding florist” career. Easy going-happy couples and sweet funny loveable mothers and fathers is what sums up the Garas family. If I didn’t love my family soooo much i would ask to be a part of this one:)!!!lol

This past weekend was the uber-gorgous wedlux wedding show held at the royal york hotel in downtown toronto. It was really amazing to catch up with old friends and get inspired with all the creative craziness going on at the show. I would just like to thank a few friends for physically and mentally helping me along the way….tiffany albojer from life images photography, becky de oliveira from blush & bloom studio, aj, my boy ry and of course my mom and dad for taking care of reid for 3 days while i was away:)

One of my bestie’s Tiffany who is 4.5 months pregnant with her 4th baby!!!! She stood on her feet all day and helped me chat with the brides:

Left over flowers that came home with me…….i left them in the car over night in the cold and they still magically looked gorgeous:)

Here is a sneak peak at last weeks wedding:) This photo booth turned out even better than expected…wait until i post the “nite” pics of the guests having a great o’ll time!! Amazing pictures were taken by Reid at When He Found Her. Reid not only shares the same name as my baby girl, he is also one hell of a great guy. Can’t wait to work with him and Brody one day soon:)
