There are not too many occasions that a wedding is held on a gorgeous private island in Muskoka…….i really wish there were more…lol….seriously this cottage/venue was absolutely gorgeous…….i kind of want it to be mine……

We worked with the couple Jenn & Kirk and the AMAZING wedding planner Bryn Allison of an Artistic Affair to bring a elegant Muskoka vibe to the cottage. Tons of Helix candles, moss, Muskoka rocks, succulents, and birch chargers we arranged on the guest tables to create a warm and relaxed Muskoka feel. I think you all know that i’m a “colour girl”, but if i were going to ever do a neutral palette this would be the way i would do it:)

This wedding was styled to perfection from Lynzie & Carly at Love By Lynzie. The ladies hand-picked all the items including the many vintage furniture pieces. Jessy, Ry & I set up the birch arch with the peach lace curtains….it turned out even better than i imagined:) Congrats again to the happy couple Kim & Richard!!!!!!!

I day dream often of owing a gorgous retail shop filled with nothing but bright coloured furniture, art, lighting and whatever else i might find along the way. Furbish Studio located in Raleigh North Carolina is pretty much exactly what i had in mind. I creep this website and blog i suwannee as many times a week as my life will allow. Who knows…..maybe one day my dream will come true:)
